Energy saving in public lighting

The company Elektro Energy doo, together with the School of Electrical Engineering at the University of Belgrade and the partner companies, has been for several years working on the implementation of a device for centralized continuous light flux regulation in Serbia and the region. The commercial name of the device is M-BOX.

M-BOX Intelight is an electronically-controlled voltage regulator that enables regulation of output voltage in the range of 230 V to 170 V. Regulation of voltage on its output, which can result in a significant reduction of electrical energy consumption of street lighting, allows regulation of luminous flux of the lamps powered by it. Voltage regulation for energy saving purposes is applicable during the late night hours when, usually due to significant decrease of traffic density, the maximum level of lighting is not necessary.

The fact that we are the only company in Serbia with a serious reference in the field of energy saving in public lighting applying the light flux regulation device, speaks for itself. Additional information on the device may be found in our download section.

High-voltage plants and substations

• The complete organization, engineering, project design and consulting service for undertaking
any type of works:

• Maintenance works on medium voltage and high voltage equipment (switches, disconnectors,
current and voltage transformers, surge arresters, energy transformers), including supply and/or
manufacture of spare parts.
• Installation, testing and commissioning of SF6 Circuit Breakers.
• Reconstruction and installation, testing and commissioning of energy transformers.
• Installation of 6 kV, 10 kV, 20 kV and 35 kV cells (of different brands).

Cabinet schematics and electrical installation works

• Power protection cabinet design and schematics
• Design and schematics of all types of low-voltage cabinets
• Construction of 0,4 kV cabinets for specific needs of different customers. Up to now we have made 0,4 kV cubicle with Schneider switches up to 2000 A.

Project-making

The company Electro Energy doo is qualified for project documentation design, primarily for transformer stations and switchgear installations, all types of cabinets (power protection cabinets, main AC and DC switchgears, subcubicles...), lighting and low-voltage electric installations, from 0,4 kV and even up to 400 kV.

Trade

Within the framework of the projects we undertake, we are able to provide all of the necessary equipment, in collaboration with the world-renowned electronic equipment manufacturers (Eaton, Siemens...). In the field of lighting installations, we have a close business relationship with one of the world's largest lamp manufacturers, the Thorn company.

Small H ydropower Plants

Renewable energy resources occupy a very important place within our long-term development strategy, above all based on construction of small hydropower plants, both for our needs and for other investors' requirements.

Elektro Energy doo, through its subsidiary company Hidroelektrana Vidrenjak, coordinates completion of technical documentation required for obtaining building permit for construction of Small Hydropower Plant on the river Vidrenjak.

Construction of the plant is expected to begin before the end of 2012.
